Vanilla sponge cake with vanilla buttercream and seedless raspberry jam filling, made for my Super Mario mad grandson. As with last year we were restricted to close family because of Covid , so the top tier was a dummy.
(I got my inspiration from Pinterest and live the challenge of trying to make it as perfect as I get to the original design.)

I’m used to making cake with more subdues colours but this was such fun to make.
