A pretty cake for my friend’s mum who turned 70 today. Vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream and strawberry jam, then covered in creamy white chocolate ganache and fondant. Handmade edible flowers in pretty pastel pink, lilac, and white. I also added tiny peach coloured blossoms, which i think really pop in between the pastel colours.
I love the romantic look of this cake, i ve made it a few times in different colours, but i think this is my favourite so far.
