This cake gave me a hard time!!!
It was a last minute cake for a family friend!! Didn’t have enough modeling paste so….fondant with CMC should be fine, right?? Well, yes, but you have to let it dry for more than a few hours or at least put it in the oven (not enough time)!! So made everything….sides ready, painted with the alcohol mixture, put it in fridge!! Opened the door after 10 min….sides collapsed (too heavy and soften because of the painting), and chocholate pieces fallen on the sides!!! 😲😲😲😱😱😱😅😅.
Last hour, made new sides, with the little modeling paste I had, a lot thinner than should be, didn’t paint it 😁😁😁 and finally ready…not as originally imaginged it, but pretty decent I believe!!
