As a favor to another caker friend of mine, I was asked to create a bitten, popsicle cake, specifically…his wife’s favorite, the orangesicle (or Dreamsicle) cake, but I don’t think he expected to see what I had created for him. I really love this cake because I believe it brings out the kid in those that see it and all those childhood memories of the ice cream man. I wished that he wanted this cake to taste like the orangesicle ice cream, but he requested all vanilla cake that was tinted orange and that was okay also.
