This was another Cake Class piece for the end of my year 2 [Intermediate level]
We had to create a novelty piece and include a piece of modelling.
This is inspired by a cake from Cake Craft & Decoration Magazine – in 2011
This is an 8’ Madeira sponge – carved and filled with Jam & Buttercream
The Dragon’s head is moulded from the carved cake, and a fairy modelled by hand with Tylo’d sugarpaste.
