A tribute to Hans Christian Andersen‘s masterwork.

Hans Christian Andersen (2 April 1805 – 4 August 1875), was a Danish author. Mostly known for his fairy tales, he also wrote poems, travelogues, novels and plays and was translated in more than 125 languages.

In order to honour his great work, we came together with a group of worldwide sugar artists, and illustrated some of his tales. First you can discover these creations in albums dedicated to the tale, then in a second album dedicated to the artist, with some details of each creation.

My creation of the Sandman is based on the Sandman of the movie ‘Rise of the Guardians’ made with Saracino modelling chocolate and Saracino modelling paste.
