A tangy-sweet cake for Father’s Day. Layers of genoise cake filled with rum-almond paste and gooseberry curd. Topped with gooseberries in syrup and torched Italian meringue. Decorated with gooseberries, almonds and French macarons. My beloved husband had a blast!
