Hi all, i hope you are all well and managing during these unprecedented times. Today is my youngest daughters 21st Birthday! Not quite the Birthday she had planned but she will postpone her celebrations until safer times. She did however get a Birthday cake. Coffee cake is Becky’s favourite so i made two tier’s of coffee sponge. Filled with coffee buttercream, then covered in a creamy coffee ganache. I decided not to cover the cakes in fondant, i really love the way chocolate ganache chooses the marbling on the cakes. Handmade roses and an abundance of meringue kisses added to the prettiness of this cake. Plenty of cake for the lock down period. Happy 21st Birthday gorgeous girl. I love you so much <3 xxx
