I wasn’t 100% what I was going to do with this cake when I set out to do it, it was for my husband rather than an order so I had plenty of freedom. He’s just happy to get cake haha. I knew I wanted to do some sort of textured buttercream effect but that was about it. And I wanted to use things I already had rather than buy anything new. So here we have it, I used some cake lace I already had made up and dusted it with a very thick mixture of Roxy and Rich gold lustre and some rejuvenator. I used ganache plates to get the buttercream sharp and even and i milk chocolate ganache that I added some sugar flair extra black to to make it black.
