Can you please make me a sloth cake for my birthday the adorable, rapidly approaching 9 year old asked. Sure thing kiddo. So I jumped online and yes…in case you are unaware, sloths are now a thing. The biggest challenge were the sloth toes as the fondant gum paste kept cracking. It turned out fine in the end. I`d advise making a few extra toes for safety. The layers are chocolate ganache, eggnog flavored French meringue buttercream and dulce leche caramel straight out of the can. INSANELY delish.
