Pink Peonies, Pearls and Lace Wedding Cake

This was a SECOND GENERATION wedding cake! A very special request from the bride – having made her parent’s wedding cake. Peonies and flower fillers are made from flower paste. I used modelling paste for pearl borders. The bride asked for peonies, rather than the traditional roses! I had never made peonies before then – therefore acquired a new skill for the project, following lots of practice!!!
