I made this for a wedding fair. The branches are made from florists wire bound with florist tape. The leaves are cut from cream floral paste and dusted with 4 colours before being steamed to set the colour.

This cake has got potential for lots of different versions. It’s now on display in a wedding dress shop and in December it will be replaced with one, still with the branch but with snowflakes of varying sizes and blue ribbon. n the spring it can have buds and blossom and I’ve already got an order for next summer for a version with green leaves for a wedding.
