After looking at a lot of Mary Poppins-themed cakes, this is what I created. I used an internal wire structure for the second time only, but it made it possible for Mary to be holding her umbrella aloft and her bag away from her body. I made the bag out of polystyrene, covered with a thin layer of sugarpaste to keep the weight down, and painted it with petal dusts and cocoa butter. Saracino modelling paste used for the rest of the figure.
