I just loved making this cake. I had made a sand castle bucket cake the week before, so when I was looking for inspiration for a garden cake this was perfect… I could use all the same shapes and techniques! The only difference was in the flower garden at the top… this really needed height to make the flowers work. In the end I used all the cut offs I had left over from creating the bucket shape, and mixed them with a little ganache to form a giant cakepop on top. Then I just put the flowers into it! Perfect, and no cake wasted.
