This was a retirement for a very special lady. She had worked at our local playgroup for almost twenty years and was much loved by dozens of families. This 12" vanilla sponge was made to share at her retirement party. I wanted to incorporate her love of gardening and the fact that she worked with children. Hence the top was covered with hundreds of individually placed flowers and the sides were covered in sprinkles! The message simply said “thank you Josie”.
