This cake was for a wedding which took place in London and the reception was at the stunning Hackney Town Hall. The rooms have an art deco feel so that influenced the design of the cake slightly, as well as the wedding colours of navy, gold and grey. Slightly unusually, the brief was for it to be as little like a wedding cake as possible!

The flavours were: black forest, spiced apple & date and lemon drizzle.
