I wanted to make something very close to my heart…Punjabi Chooda (red white bangles) and Mehandi (Heena) are the soul of any punjabi wedding. Chooda is a very special element without which the wedding rituals are incomplete.
I knew very well, making these bangles are going to be a task but my heart was totally inclined towards it ☺️
Talking about sculpting the hands, something I did after 18 years. The very first thing in our clay modelling class during college and I used to hate it because of the clay. Sculpting these in Clay was much messier back then and fondant made it really fun work. Applying Heena was the most favourite part.
Lastly the nail paint, well this surely needed a second coat 😉
I totally enjoyed working on this.
Hope you all like it.

Beautiful job, Jyoti! I completely understand your feelings about clay. I much prefer sculpting in modeling chocolate, so silky and tasty, lol!
