I am so proud to be one of this wonderful collaboration “Beautiful Sri Lanka”, an International Collaboration where over 100 talented cake artist around the world work together to represent Sri Lanka, which created beautifully by Sharon Siriwerdena.

My pieces is Dian Hemamali Sangeetha Weeraratne. She is Sri Lanka film actress and made her debut in 1990. However, she earned immense popularity in 1993. It was a huge success and she won the Sarasaviya Best Newcomer Award that year. Since then she is regarded as one of the most successful stars of the Sri Lankan film industry. it makes me want to make her figure.

I made this piece using satin ice fondant and gumpaste. for the color, i use wilton and Americolor and for the details i used royal icing then i color it with Gold color from Editable Art Decoratuve Paint from sweet sticks…
