This was a birthday cake for an Apple super-fan! His wife had asked for an Apple themed cake to include an iPhone and this was the design I suggested. Both tiers are fondant-covered cake and the phone icons were hand-painted. I personalised it with details like the weather icon to match the weather on his birthday and the calendar icon showed the date of his birthday.
The cake itself was a vanilla sponge with jam and buttercream. Apparently he loved the cake and won’t let anyone eat the phone!
