#LDIF 2 , Christmas grandeur collaboration… Subhashini Ramsingh,mam,you trusted me more than I trusted myself…I was planning to make a small cottage and you made me create this 2 ft castle…

Like all little girls, I too grew up listening to stories of castle, prince and princess. So when I got this opportunity of making a gingerbread castle, I was highly excited. While making this castle,I was in an almost trance like state…Game of thrones,winterfell,land of always winter was all I could think of…The die hard romantic that im🙈

The project was literally a back breaking job to put together this mammoth 2ft castle. Making the dough,rolling, baking around 35 pieces of huge ginger bread cookies and kilos of Royal Icing was a task in itself.

After completing this herculean task, my confidence on myself increased manifold. So here stands my beautiful, and enormous, snow clad castle made with gingerbread cookies ,each piece joined together with royal icing,candy windows and royal icing decorations.every single element of this castle is carefully hand crafted and very much edible.
