The Black Beauty depicts the theme Diwali – Celebration of lights. The delicate top tier is a wafer paper coloured black and then tiny holes are burnt into it using incense stick. These holes are highlighted with gold edible paint.

Middle tier depicts the light element and the bottom tier is inspired from Serdar Yeners sliced fondant technique. Each white part is painstakingly hand painted with edible gold.
