Jack is made from Laped Italian modelling paste. He is dressed in a tailored, pin-stripe suit, which was painted with a tiny brush and a very steady hand! Both he and his throne are mounted on a cake card, so the birthday girl can keep him long after her party has ended.

I absolutely loved making this! As with all of my cakes, adding the detail is my favourite part; the shading, the cobblestone cake board, the pumpkins, Jack’s fingers – there’s just so much to love! 😍 I hope you love him too!
