I think that this happens to every cake maker at one point or another in their career.when you spent seveal days into making a beautiful multilayer cake and the client pick it up t was okay and after they came home you get a msg that the cake collapsed !😫 ( a nightmare i always have whn making multi tier cake) i told them to bring it back and i will figure out how to salvage the cake.i was too stressed to take a picture of the collapsed cake but this is what i was able to do with an hour of time left since they have to take it to the venue about 3 hours away.thank God it was salvageble😓this is the first time a cake i made collapsed.so lesson learned :
1. Insist on delivering the cake and assemble it on site
2. Dowels and cake boards are your best friend ( enough dowels and board save the cake being crushed to death )
