Unicorn cakes are ever popular but many designs have a very similar look with the very soft pastel hair swirls.

My customer requested a unicorn cake with brights hair swirls in primary colours, for her two very young daughters birthdays.

To keep with the vibrant flashes of hair, I opted for a marbled fondant cake drum decorated in the same primary colours to really make the design pop.

The gold etched name plates were dusted in the same gold lustre paint as the gornnand ears, before being handpainted.
