My piece inspired by John Galliano – Dior Couture by Patrick Demarchelier Book 2011. Thank you so much Heba M. Elalfy of Sweet Dreams by Heba for inviting me to be in this amazing Collaboration xx.
For this design, I used textured satin ice fondant with stitching pattern then added some flowing-fondant ruffles for 2nd tiers. The 3rd and 4th tier cakes are colored in progel dark navy and attached with lots of royal icing piped turquoise beads, some gold sequins made from punched wafer paper and also pearly blue and gold ornate buttons. Finally, for final dramatic touched I give some sugar dark red magnolias genies with golden buds for the center.
