I mostly make kid’s celebration cakes so participating in cake collaborations is my happy place for playing around cake designs outside my comfort zone.

For my contribution to the (almost) 50 Cakes of Grey collaboration, I wanted to have a mash up of different textures and effects. I went with bas relief with edible silver paint accents, marbled effect and metallic embossing. A simple white fantasy wafer paper flower ties up all the textured details.
