My friend Elize deserved a special cake for her 50th birthday to say thank you for all the years of friendship we have shared.
My only brief was cerise pink and black so I coloured the hand using copic markers and then had it printed onto edible paper before putting onto black fondant and cutting it out.
Inspired by the swirls in the hand I added stencilled black glitter swirls on the cake board using Crystal Candy Memoire stencil.
The roses I made in cerise pink and added the rose bud and frilled black flowers to complete the design.
