“Everything you can imagine is real” – Pablo Picasso

Imagination has driven most of my thoughts while designing a cake. It was a lemonade at first. But a picture of a moroccan pink glass made it a moroccan lemonade. Starting from the bottom, the pink tier was given a suede effect with scattered ethnic pieces of gold bas relief. The middle tier was slightly airbrushed and adorned with dehydrated lemon wheels with gold edges. The top was hand painted and embellished with a sugar magnolia. It all made perfect sense when it came together. The colors, the summer, the gold and my imagination – all in one cake.
