Pineapple leaves made of gum paste – thank you Adorn Cakes for a fantastic tutorial! 2 Tiers of chocolate and vanilla cake covered in Italian Meringue Vanilla Buttercream. Filled w/Chocolate and Vanilla IMBC and Raspberry Preserves. Bottom cake tier embellished w/green grass skirt made of fondant, put through a pasta machine (spaghetti attachment), as well as fondant flower trim. Top cake tier was adorned w/fondant bamboo (made w/Karen Davies Bamboo Mold). Surfboard and hibiscus flowers made of gum paste.
