This was my entry for the Incredible India Cake Collaboration, my very first collaboration piece.

Cake name: “Jewels of India”

Cake Inspiration/Description:
The hand work by local artisans make every Indian jewel a bespoke piece. Centuries of refinement with influences from Aryan, Arab, Greek, Mughal, Dravidian & tribal culture make for an Incredible Indian treasure chest of fine jewellery.

My jewellery set and chest draws inspiration from the intricate motifs seen on the Taj Mahal. The marble walls inlaid with precious and semi precious stones have inspired many a jewellery designer.

Laid on flowing satin, the jewels represent the intricate hand work of Indian artisans. The golden jewel box encompasses it all.
