I’m Jane from The Coffee Cup Cake Co, I live in Eastbourne in East Sussex right by the Seaside. I’ve been making cakes for a couple of years now, the more I make the more I want to learn! I love everything art and design, and being able to put that passion into my cake love to make other people happy is amazing!
The thinking behind my sisterhood and friendship collaboration piece…. Basically it’s my interpretation of friendship and what my best friends me to me. I’ve grown up living by the seaside all my life so that’s the beach theme. My figures are born from inspiration from willow wood figures, these are my hybrid driftwood version. The driftwood idea to me is that we don’t always get to see each other drifting along with our lives by the sea, but we know without a doubt we are always there for each other no matter what.
