I was honored to be contacted by Heba from ‘Sweet Dreams By Heba’ to participate in her first annual ‘Couture Cakers International’ Collaboration! Then I had to decide what style/era I was going to choose, and it was NOT easy! I wanted something a little fun, but elegant, sweet, but hard, and VERY unique. I decided that I was going to go with my gut, and choose ‘VICTORIAN STEAMPUNK’! I am so glad I did! I love EVERYTHING about Victorian Steampunk, ESPECIALLY the mix of different materials…from the beautiful fabrics, the corsets, the lace, the leather, the metals, to how you can add almost any accessory to it, and it takes it to a whole new level! My favorite is the top hats paired with goggles perched down in front. Since the inspiration photo that I used for this design didn’t have the hat and goggles, I decided to add my own, and I think it ‘TOPS’ it all off! Ha! What do you think?
