I made this cake for a friend’s birthday when she showed me a picture of her new planter in her backyard. It was meant to be inspirational but instead I re-created the entire arrangement. She was delighted! It brings me joy when I can create something for someone that makes them feel extra special. The planter is cake and has been mirror glazed. The flowers are gumpaste. I’m not gonna lie. This cake took me an entire week!
