I had made the Elvis face months ago taking the photo on a cardboard then wax paper over it and piped it with pre-mixed black Cake Lace Confectionery Lace. I probably alternated between tips 1 & 2. I’ve been having fun with the “silhouettes”. I cannot pipe on a cake to save my life but doing them on wax paper, letting them air dry, then applying to cakes is super easy & can take the stress out of decorating the cakes. I actually made this with someone else in mind but decided to put it on my husband’s cake for a quick & easy cake to take with us on vacation.
