It was a huge honour to have been asked to make this cake for the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall this week. The Cake was to celebrate the centenary of Ambrosia.
They visited the factory and had a tour, finishing with an unveiling of a mosaic and cutting the cake. They were both incredibly friendly and Camilla was ‘blown away’ by it. Charles tried the cake too and it was a huge hit with everyone. The Royal family page on Facebook has even shared the photo!
The Cake inside was a vanilla sponge with an Ambrosia custard buttercream and strawberry preserve.
