This is a recreation of Odie, the Golden Lab who works for the Victims Services Unit. It was his 5 year anniversary and the 25th anniversary for the Victims Services Unit. The cake is chocolate with slated caramel buttercream frosting covered in fondant. The head is made of rice krispie, covered in modeling chocolate and then fondant. The legs are cake. All of the details are out of fondant. This was my first attempt at a sculptured animal cake and I was really pleased with how it turned out (although I had a great model lol)
