The royal icing miniature I created for the collaboration “My Bulgaria” is inspired by my love for culinary. I’m interested in traditions, scenes of country life and just life as simple as it is. I covered the floor with a royal icing carpet, placed a vintage table and some three-legged stools all made of cookie. I presented traditional Bulgarian dishes – Banitsa, Bulgarian bread, Shopska salad (tomatoes, cucumbers and cheese), beans, Tarator (yoghurt soup with cucumbers, garlic, dill and walnuts). Couldn’t miss the hot chili pepper, garlic cloves, salt and pepper keeper and a jug of old sparkling wine. The whole composition is made of cookie, a sheet of wafer paper and my best friend – royal icing.
