I made this cake for my baby girl’s 10th birthday. I’ve been wanting to try the Ombre effect for some time. It’s just looks so simple & pretty. My middle layer could of been a tad bit darker, but overall I was happy with it. And well the Anemone (although I know their missing the stamens) are quickly becoming my favorite “go-to” flower! I love their ruffly petals. This was a combo of butter pecan cake and spice cake…her 2 favorites.
