I made this today for one of my Granddaughters birthday (4yrs) …I’m by miles no pro snd its rough round the edges but hey, my granddaughter will love it through her eyes and that’s what counts most 😊 it’s in the cake box ready ffor delivery…

Oh thank you Elli…so kind of you offering to help, and thank you for liking my cake ! – I am not a pro or semi pro as you can tell; I just enjoy making cakes but mostly having a go at attempting decorating them learning from my mistakes as I go along :-) xxx
Ps: I absolutely adore your amazing talent/cakes :-) …if only I could produce a rose or even a cake decorated as beautiful as any of yours xxx maybe I should go on a course – Online or college, which would you prefer/recommend ? as I am thinking about online course as you can go back as many times as you wish !

I think its a great idea to have a lessons with well know artists if you can if its something in particular you want to learn or definitely online courses! OMG Elli, I watched several of Kara’s Couture Cakes vids and I cannot thank you enough. I feel after all I have watched I will definately be able to produce a beautiful Rose + from now on. I have a birthday cake to make in two weeks and was thinking of doing a Rose Basket with the basket weave, open lids and handle…I feel confident enough to make this now.
