Step back in time as we recreate a beautiful cheesecake, with a 200-year-old cookbook and (almost) no modern kitchen gadgets. I tried to keep this as faithful to the original recipe and methodology as possible, picking fresh berries, making my own cheese and even tracking down a cow! Just watched the video – amazing! I bet your arm ached after all that whisking and grinding in the pestle and mortar. (my arm ached just watching you). It just shows you what a big difference electricity and mod cons make to our lives. Well done you.
