Not everyone will think this is a Happy Birthday Cake but the 16 year old recipient loved it!

14×12 sheet cake stacked and carved. The groves are built up using cake cut offs then the whole thing iced. All edible apart from the first half of the handle on the scythe. It was 3 cake pop sticks bound together and covered in fondant. The bones and skull where modelled from fondant and dry brushed then details highlighted with white food colouring (powder) mixed to a paint with alcohol.

Hope you all like it! I nicknamed him Grimmy. It’s one of my favourite cakes so far.
