This cake was made as a surprise for the client’s daughter. She wanted to incorporate her favourite things…. France, ballet, singing, piano and books!!! After a few designs we finally got there!!! The books have her birthday message, France, and Swan Lake on them….unfortuantely, the big swan lake book was supposed to have a nice curved spine but both broke at around 11pm last night so it had to revert back to a flat spine!! The bottom tier symbolizes her love for piano and singing and finally, the boards are dressed in textured paste and pearlized to hint at a ballerinas tutu, along with the sugar ballet shoes!! Phew!
