So I figured hang on a sec I make these awesome cakes for other peoples birthdays what about me? So my birthday present to myself (though it will be shared with the guys in the office) is a luxurious chocolate cake with dark chocolate and raspberry ganache (I am totally addicted to it), raspberry meringue buttercream and a chocolate drip effect. Topped off with home made macarons filled with raspberry jam and yep more of the ganache, tempered chocolate shards with pretty transfers and mini meringue kisses.
Really proud of the macarons as they were a first for me…there may have been a squeal of delight when I pulled them out of the oven lol.
