One thing I’ve always wanted to do was try my hand at ‘Multi-tiered Wedding Cake’. Thanks to Priyanka (Polka Dots) for letting me join her training program and I could put together this beautiful 5 tier bridal cake.
Design inspiration came from the Pentone Colour of the year, Greenery and my desire to include nature in my cake (I wanted to make geode) while keeping it simple, elegant and contemporary without being extravagant.
White fondant cutout work brings bridal effect to otherwise greenery and earthy toned cake. Blend of Pink, Green, Black and White fondants finished with gold essence form the marbled effect.
Base tier airbrushed with gold luster dust along with edible lace adds the festive mood to fit the occasion.
