This cake was made at a modern wedding cake class conducted by priyanka of polka dots academy!
The theme is based on an Indian bridal outfit, the dominating colours being gold, red and white.
In the lower tier, gold is airbrushed and wafer paper is punched.
The 2nd tier is hand painted.
The 3rd tier is kept simple with brushing of gold with vodka.
The 4 th tier is partially airbrushed red along with the gorgeous frames which were made using silicon moulds.
The hand carved sphere is decorated with bas relief method and then airbrushed with gold.
I’m uber proud of this cake and grateful for all that I learnt including various cake decor techniques, tall cake stacking and tall cake handling.
