The exterior – made entirely of edible sponge and icing – resembled the popular coffee machines found in most public spaces and even had spaces for napkins, stirrers and sugar packets at the side.

With exceptional attention to detail and building on a unique premise, the working coffee machine cake was the first of its kind and is a fantastic display of the skills, imagination and limitless capabilities of Angie Scott.
