I was asked to make this cake by a friend for her daughter’s first birthday. It’s a design by Sparkling Cakes she saw on Pinterest . I had always wanted to try ruffles & although it takes forever to do I was thrilled with the result. The cakes are 9" & 7" vanilla Sponge cakes filled with raspberry seedless jam & vanilla buttercream.
