I made this cake for my daughter’s birthday. She loves fairies, so I went to town! The fairy is gumpaste and I made a marshmallow candle for her to blow out – and eat! This was my first time making the bark effect in modeling chocolate, and I’m sold. The little doors and windows were my favorite touches, and the macaron toadstools were a hit too. Definitely one of my favorite cakes!
