The Odissi dancer

A milestone birthday celebration cake for a very talented Odissi dancer. We made a humble attempt at making a edible version of the dancer’s beautiful headpiece and the ghungroos to adorn the cake.

Bake make: A eggless butter cake , filled & frosted with whipped valrhona dark chocolate ganache. Images of various dance postures on the sides, and the ornaments completed the cake.
