I just love this cake! This is an 8" and 6" buttercream cake. I was so tickled with the way Abi turned out. I made her from fondant using a layering technique I learned on Craftsy. The class was taught by Corrie Cakes. I used edible markers to create the details. I attached her to a dowel using royal icing and stuck the dowel in the cake to stand her up. I created Elmo the same way. I allowed him to dry before sticking him directly onto the cake using royal icing because I wanted it to look like he was standing up in front of the cake.
